In addition to composing, Lisa is also active as an accompanist, specialising with singers. For eight years Lisa held the post of Lecturer in Music Performance & Accompanist at Gower College Swansea (formerly Gorseinon College, Swansea) working with large cohorts of vocal and instrumental students from Grade 5 to Licentiate Diploma level.

 

Lisa was joint-accompanist for the Ariosa Singers and Mumbles Voices Community Choir, Swansea, both run by Penny Ryan OBE. Lisa also coaches / accompanies advanced singing students for concerts and recitals and for ATCL, DipABRSM, ARSM, ANCM, ALCM and LNCM Recital diplomas and works with professional opera singers. 

Students Lisa has accompanied / coached have gained places and scholarships to the Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music, Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Trinity Laban Conservatoire, Royal Northern College of Music, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and universities including Cambridge, Royal Holloway, Cardiff, Bristol, Durham, Kings College London and Trinity St. David's for musical theatre.

Lisa is a former member of All Saints Church Choir (Oystermouth, Swansea), St. Teilo's Church Choir (Bishopston, Swansea), Cantoris Llandeilo, Gower Chorale, Swansea Bach Choir, Lower Machen Festival Choir, Amici Chamber Choir Wales, National Chorale of Wales and the Radyr and Morganstown Choral Society. Lisa currently sings with Amabile vocal group. 

Lisa is also very interested in the academic side of Music, having specialised in Musicology at Bristol University. While at Gower College, Lisa was appointed Music Lecturer on the South Wales 'Higher Education Plus' Scheme affiliated to Cambridge University. In addition to lecturing, Lisa has also written programme notes for concerts and festivals including Crwth Concert Series, Oystermouth Music Society, Gower Festival, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and the Swansea Festival of Music and the Arts.
